Life in prison. That’s what an Adams County man was told during his sentencing Friday.
61-year-old Larry Clark is not likely to be free ever again. That’s because Judge Paul Curran sent him to prison for life, with no possibility for parole until he’s 91 years old. Clark was convicted last week of shooting his mother Marcella Clark in the back as she stood in the kitchen of a home they shared.
After his mother’s death, Clark spent her money on food and other items. He also misled authorities by saying Marcella was visiting relatives out of state when she was actually dead and wrapped in a tarp elsewhere on the property.
