HATLEY, WI  (WSAU)  -  A semi driver has been treated and released after yesterday's thunderstorm blew his semi over on Highway 29 near Hatley.

The State Patrol says the driver was traveling with an empty truck about two miles east of Hatley near Hilltop Lane when the storm hit.  High winds carried the empty trailer over into the ditch causing major damage to the vehicle at 5:28 p.m.

The driver escaped with minor head injuries.  He was treated at St. Claire's Hospital in Weston and later released.  The driver's name will be released later today.

The State Patrol, Hatley Fire crews and Marathon County Deputies all assisted at the scene.
