WORCESTER, Wis. (WSAU) -- The missing hunter in Price County has been found. The 28-year-old man was in a boat, duck hunting on Cranberry Lake in Price County west of Worcester. He was reported missing at 2:50 p.m. Saturday. The search went on through the night. Price County deputies say the man’s body was recovered by searchers Sunday morning at about 7:40 a.m.
The man’s name is being withheld until relatives are notified.
The Price County Sheriff’s Department was assisted in the search by the Pike Lake Fire Department, the Tri-County Dive Team, the Central Price County Ambulance Service, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The Price County Coroner’s Office and The Salvation Army also assisted at the Cranberry Lake scene.
