Spencer crash victim identified

by

SPENCER, Wis. (WSAU) -- The name of the woman killed in a car vs. school bus crash in Spencer Monday morning has been released.

She was 55-year-old Teresa A. Cummins. Cummins lost control of her car on icy highway 13 near North LaSalle Street at about 7 o’clock Monday morning. She crossed the center line into the path of an oncoming school bus.

There were no kids on the bus at the time.

The first winter-like road conditions of the season led to nearly 30 vehicle crashes that morning in Marathon County alone.
