UNDATED (WSAU) High winds have left about 7,000 people without electricity around Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Public Service is reporting multiple power outages across their service area, mostly because of high winds bringing down trees and tree limbs across power lines.
Most of the outages are north and east of Wausau. The hardest hit areas are Wabeno and Crivitz.
There are also outages in Mosinee, Marathon, and Waupaca.
Crews are working to restore power, but there’s no timetable for getting the lights back on for everyone.
High winds are expected to last into the day on Tuesday.
