Drug bust in Forest County leads to sixteen arrests

CRANDON, Wis. (WXPR) -- Sixteen people have been arrested and three more are being sought in connection with an undercover drug investigation in Forest county. Sheriff John Dennee says confidential informants purchased marijuana, cocaine, and prescription medications from people in and out of Forest County. Nine of the suspects are from Crandon. They are Steven Polar, Laurie Olds, Kyler Williams, Mackenzi McGhesick, Candice Holmes, Alexander VanZile, Ahshoni Daniels, Tonya Malone and Jodie Burnett. Two others are from Wabeno. They are John Powless and Sheenah White.

Five others were arrested in the Town of Nashville for drug charges on November 13 on Indian Settlement Road. They are Dominic Bellomy, Rosemarie Curtiss, David Curtiss, Timothy Burnett and Lynn Daniels. Two people from Bonduel and one from Milwaukee are still being sought. Those arrested are making appearances in Forest County Circuit Court Tuesday.
