WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - The St. Paul Minnesota man accused of shooting his girlfriend in her Weston apartment a year ago has been found guilty. 22-year-old Richi Vue entered into a plea agreement Tuesday in Marathon County court. Vue has been convicted of reckless homicide for the death of 20-year-old Lee Xiong. Additional charges of being a felon possessing a firearm, operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent, and fleeing an officer were dismissed but will be read in at the time of sentencing.
Judge Greg Grau set Vue’s sentencing for January 2nd, 2014 at 1:00 p.m.
The shooting stemmed from a domestic argument over the proceeds of drug sales. A fourteen year old witness in the apartment called police to report the crime.
