WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) - Wausau school board members are moving forward with an investigation into the controversy surrounding holiday music in the district.
Board members voted Monday night to look into the costs of hiring an investigator through the Wisconsin Association of School Boards. They'll be taking bids on the process from in the community as well. Board members agreed that an outside investigation of the events would be helpful to make sure that emotional issues were not brought into the mix.
The board then moved into closed session to start a performance review of Superintendent Kathleen Williams.
