GREEN BAY, Wis. (WSAU) - Investigators say a Friday fatal motorcycle crash in Brown County was likely caused by speeding.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Department says the driver struck a concrete barrier on Highway 41 in the Village of Howard at about 11:30 p.m. The motorcyclist was thrown from his machine, and struck by several vehicles.

There were no other injuries. Emergency crews had Highway 41 closed Friday night and Saturday morning for about five hours.

So far, the motorcyclist’s name has not been released.
