MILWAUKEE, WI (LEARFIELD-WSAU) Long-time Milwaukee Bucks’ T-V broadcaster Jon McGlocklin will cut his workload in half this season. It was announced today that “Johnny Mac” will provide analysis on about 36 Bucks’ telecasts on Fox Sports Wisconsin, mostly at home – and former Bucks’ guard and assistant coach Sidney Moncrief will cover the other 36. McGlocklin is now 70, and he asked for a reduction in his game broadcasts because he’s getting weary from all the travel. McGlocklin joined the Bucks’ T-V crew in 1976 after his retirement from the N-B-A. He played for eight years with the Bucks, and was on Milwaukee’s only championship team in the 1970-and-71 season. His Number-14 is retired – as is Moncrief’s Number-Four. Moncrief is now 55 years old. Jim Paschke returns as the Bucks’ T-V play-by-play man. He’s in his 28th season with the team.
