Six on the ballot for Suder's Assembly seat

MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WSAU) A total of six candidates have filed for the 69th Assembly District race for the seat being vacated by former majority leader Scott Suder. Tuesday was the filing deadline for the 69th Assembly District special election. Tim Swiggum of Owen has filed as an Independent, and Neillsville resident Kenneth A. Slezak will be running as the only Democrat on the ballot in the Nov 19th general election. Four Republicans are already running. They are Tom Dahlen of Granton, Stratford businessman Bob Kulp, plus Scott Kenneth Noble and Alana Feddick, both of Marshfield. They will face off in an October 22nd primary. The winner of that special election will finish the remainder of Suder’s term, left vacant when he took a position on the Public Service Commission
