Brewers make it 7 straight, beat Pirates 4-2

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WSAU-TSN) - Aramis Ramirez stroked a two-run home run to help the Milwaukee Brewers to a 4-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Friday at Miller Park.

Mark Reynolds added a solo blast and Carlos Gomez picked up an RBI for the Brewers, who have won seven straight.

Wily Peralta (1-0) hurled seven solid innings, allowing two runs -- one earned -- on four hits, fanning four. Francisco Rodriguez struck out the side in the ninth, earning his third save of the season.

Neil Walker provided Pittsburgh's offense, going 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and Pittsburgh starter Francisco Liriano (0-2) surrendered all four of the Milwaukee's runs, while fanning seven through six frames.

The Brewers have been playing well in all areas of the game.  They have the lowest ERA in baseball with a team .199 ERA.  The Brewers has outscored all opponents this season 50 to 26.
