ROTHSCHILD, Wis. (WSAU) -- The second in a pair of blood drives takes place Tuesday in Rothschild. The BloodCenter of Wisconsin held one drive Friday at St. Claire’s Hospital in Weston. Today, Coordinator Vicki Bohman says they’re making it easy for Rothschild residents and several students to donate. “We are over in Rothschild at Globe University, which is the old Gander Mountain building, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.”
BloodCenter is still doing their promotion where they give donors waterpark passes for Mt Olympus in Wisconsin Dells.
Bohman says the need is always there. “Every day, there are trauma patients and surgeries where blood is needed, so if you’ve never donated, I encourage you to give it a try.”
Calling for an appointment is a good idea during promotions like this one. Appointments can be made by calling 888-310-7555. Remember to bring a photo ID or driver’s license when you donate.
