MARYVALE, AZ (LEARFIELD-WSAU) The Milwaukee Brewers dropped to 0-and-4 in Cactus League exhibitions, losing 4-to-3 to the Los Angeles Dodgers yesterday in Glendale Arizona.
Milwaukee’s Matt Clark tied the game in the top-of-the-ninth with a solo homer. Corey Seager doubled home the winning run for the Dodgers off left-hander Brent Leach.
Mike Fiers had a solid start for the Crew, giving up just one hit and an unearned run in two-and-two-thirds innings. Fiers struck out three.
Carlos Gomez had an R-B-I double and Hunter Morris had a run-scoring single for the Brewers’ other runs. Milwaukee will play Kansas City this afternoon in Phoenix. Jimmy Nelson will make his first start of the spring for the Brewers.
