FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) - Charges have been filed against a Fond du Lac man who allegedly broke into homes naked and tried to touch women as they slept.
On Tuesday morning, 26-year-old Lucas S. Leffel appeared by video in Fond du Lac County court. He was charged with four counts of attempted second-degree sexual assault and three counts of felony burglary.
According to court documents, Leffel went into four homes in the Primrose Lane and Dewberry Drive neighborhood since June. The most recent incident took place August 8. Leffel lives in that neighborhood.
Assistant District Attorney Dennis Krueger said Tuesday that Leffel's mom brought her son to police, after she found him in the front yard in his underwear early on August 9. Later that day, Leffel was arrested.
A judge set Leffel's bond at $250,000 cash. He's due back in court later this month.
