PORT EDWARDS, Wis. (WSAU) -- There's an unusual cause of death for a Wood County man found dead on Wednesday.
Wood County officials say the 33-year-old died of 'positional asphyxiation'. The man was found dead by a group of teenagers near the corner of Highway AA and Grunewald Lane.
The man's name has not yet been released pending notification of relatives. The coroner's office says he may have been dead for two days before being discovered. Alcohol is being considered as a factor in the man's death.
