MADISON, WI (LEARFIELD-WSAU) Published reports indicate the Wisconsin Badgers are about to go with their fifth different starting quarterback in the last five years. When Bucky tees it up against L-S-U in Houston a week from tonight, several sources are saying junior Tanner McEvoy will lead the offense. He appears to have edged returning starter Joel Stave. Coach Gary Andersen has talked about using both quarterbacks in the 2014 season. McEvoy is bigger and more athletic, but Stave has the experience and is a winner. Just to complicate things a little more, the coach has also hinted true freshman D.J. Gillins could get some snaps.
