NEKOOSA, Wis (WSAU) A Nekoosa man who is accused of killing his sister's pet kitten entered a not guilty plea yesterday. 25-year-old Brian Sentkowski was in court yesterday, charged with felony animal abuse.
Earlier he'd told police that he was in a drunken rage last November, and took out his anger on the first thing he saw. His sister said she came home and there was a blood stain on the floor and her kitten was missing. Investigators say the animal was killed with a knife and was found in a ditch nearby.
Sentkowski is free on $5,000 signature bond, and will be back in court March 28th.
