LOS ANGELES, CA (LEARFIELD) Former Green Bay Packers safety Darren Sharper has been charged with two counts of rape and other drug charges in a Los Angeles court room yesterday. According to prosecutors, the 38-year-old is accused of raping several women by using a date rape drug in their drinks. Sharper is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting at least seven women in four states. From 1997 to 2004, Sharper played for the Packers and was a six-time all-pro safety. After his retirement, he became an analyst for the N-F-L Network.
