MILWAUKEE, WI (LEARFIELD-WSAU) The Milwaukee Bucks will host the Chicago Bulls tonight in Game-Three of their first-round N-B-A playoff series. But whether it will be a home-court advantage for the Bucks is in doubt.
Forward John Henson encourages Bucks’ fans to bring their voices with them tonight, and be at least a little louder than the large numbers of fans expected to be up from the Windy City. Henson said a favorable crowd would help after the Bucks lost the first two games of the series in Chicago, despite an extremely physical defense in Game-Two on Monday night.
Bulls’ forward Mike Dunleavy has seen it from both sides — and he said the loud Chicago crowds at the BMO Harris Bradley Center were “definitely irritating” when he played in Milwaukee. But regardless of the venue, the Bucks will have to shoot better to have any hope of winning. They missed almost two-thirds of their shots on Monday night.
Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo said the Bulls work together to plug the gaps when he drives to the basket, so he’ll need to do a better job of finding open teammates.
The Bulls will be without key reserve Nikola Mirotic tonight. The rookie forward hurt his left knee during a scuffle for a loose ball in Game-Two.
