NEW YORK, NY (LEARFIELD-WSAU) Three Green Bay Packers will be up for awards during the N-F-L Honors show on Saturday night. Running back Eddie Lacy will be in the audience as a nominee for the league's Rookie-of-the-Year. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers and receiver Randall Cobb are among the finalists for the G-M-C Never-Say-Never Moment of the Year, for the long touchdown pass that won the Packers' regular season finale at Chicago. The league used to spread its awards on a piece-meal basis until it decided three years ago to hold a Hollywood-type awards' show to provide entertainment on the eve of the Super Bowl. The program will be held at Radio City Music Hall in New York. It will be shown on Fox starting at seven Saturday night. The Packers have reportedly signed fullback Ina Liaina as a street free-agent. His representative tweets that Liaina signed a two-year deal with the Pack. He played his college ball at San Jose State. The Miami Dolphins signed him last May and cut him a month later. Liaina was out of football for the rest of last season.
