STEVENS POINT, Wis. (WSAU) -- An inmate has walked away from jail.
Portage County Sheriff’s Department officials are looking for 25-year-old Leif Huffman. Huffman was dropped off in front of the jail by his attorney, who accompanied him to an appointment. The sheriff's department says he has a tattoo of biohazard symbol on his upper back, a tattoo of Grim Reaper on his upper right arm, and a Dragon on his lower right arm. He has been convicted of multiple offenses including battery, intimidation of a witness, and strangulation/suffocation.
Anyone that knows the whereabouts of Leif Huffman is encouraged to contact law enforcement immediately.
He was wearing a baseball cap, blue-green t-shirt, blue jeans, and carrying a shopping bag.
