Brewers hang on, then get 4 runs in 13th to beat Mets

FLUSHING, NY (WSAU-TSN) - Jonathan Lucroy's go-ahead two-run homer in the 13th inning helped lift the Milwaukee Brewers to a 5-1 win over the New York Mets in the finale of a three-game set.

Rickie Weeks, Aramis Ramirez and Mark Reynolds each drove in a run for the Brewers, who have won four of their last five. Zach Duke (4-0) pitched a flawless 12th inning to get the win.

Bobby Abreu knocked in the only run of the game for the Mets, who have lost eight of their last nine games. Carlos Torres (2-4) suffered the loss for allowing four runs in the 13th.

Neither starter factored into the decision despite both pitching well. Kyle Lohse went eight innings for the Brewers and gave up just an unearned run on four hits, while Jon Niese allowed a run on six hits over 7 2/3 innings for the Mets.
