ABBOTSFORD, Wis (WSAU) A former Abbotsford teacher who is accused of having sexual contact with two students is no longer a fugitive. 26-year-old Andy Follen appeared in court Monday, where prosecutors claimed he contacted one of the victim by telephone and then via an internet game's "chat" function.
Prosecutors are considering an additional charge of intimidating a victim. Court records indicted he wanted one of the students to change her story to get charges reduced against him. He also tried to make arrangements to see her again. He's already facing five counts of sexual misconduct.
The judge raised Follen's bond to $7,500 cash, which he posted. He's been told not to use the internet while the case is pending against him, and to verify his whereabouts with the Clark County sheriffs department while awaiting trial.
