RHINELANDER, Wis. (WSAU) -- A Rhinelander teacher is in trouble after a domestic incident Friday night. High school math teacher Jason Kremer is charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and battery after getting into an argument with his wife at the Woodpecker Bar.
Kremer was allegedly texting a co-worker when his wife jabbed at him and told him to “knock it off.” She said her husband backhanded her. He said he was trying to block her and accidentally struck her.
Rhinelander Police investigators don’t believe her injury matches up with an accidental hit.
Kremer is on administrative leave from the school, and will be back in court May 12th for an adjourned initial court appearance.
