WATKINS GLEN, NY (Wheeler News Service) — Joey Logano’s car was good enough to win the pole position, so, when he was bounced to the back of the pack for a pit infraction, it didn’t prevent the inevitable. Logan had a big lead at the end when he won the Zippo 200 Saturday.
Teammate Brad Keselowski was the only driver within shouting distance.
It was the first road course victory for Logano in any of NASCAR’s top series races.
The only Wisconsin driver in the race, Eau Claire’s Paul Menard, finished ninth.
