WOOD COUNTY – An ATV crash northeast of Vesper left two people hospitalized. Wood County deputies say 40-year-old Sandra B. Williams and an 8-year-old girl riding with her were hurt when the ATV went into a ditch. They were traveling westbound on Kronstedt Road at about 3:50 p.m. Sunday when they went through the intersection with Highway F and crashed in the west ditch.
Neither Williams or the girl were wearing helmets.
Vesper Fire Department, Wood County Rescue, United Ambulance, and Spirit air ambulance assisted deputies at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wood County Sheriff’s Department.
