WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) — There’s been another large drug bust in Marathon County.
Marathon County Sheriff’s Department deputies and the Special Investigations Unit seized methamphetamines and marijuana, plus about $5,000 dollars in cash, and three firearms. One of the firearms is a handgun with a silencer.
The investigators executed search warrants at 3802 County Highway N in the Town of Plover and at a home in the City of Wausau.
The drugs included approximately two ounces of high grade Crystal Methamphetamine and several ounces of processed marijuana. The street value of the confiscated contraband is about $4,000 dollars.
37-year-old Pao Yang was arrested, and is expected in court for an initial appearance Friday for eight felony charges related to possession with intent to deliver drugs, parole violation, and being a convicted felon in possession of firearms. He was already on extended supervision for a past drug conviction.
