MARSHFIELD, Wis. (WSAU) — Today’s the final day of the Central Wisconsin State Fair in Marshfield, but there’s still time to get in on the end of summer fun at the fair that has something for everyone. Fair manager Adam Fischer says it’s going to be a “Rock-em Sock ’em” time, first with something brand new to the fair, some championship bull riding in front of the grandstand. Then at 6:00 a demolition derby really finishes off this year’s fair with a bang.
Also at the fair, a draft horse show in the morning, magic shows throughout the day, an archery competition at 1:30, and the MPK Celtic Christian Band is in the Family Entertainment Tent starting at 4:00 p.m.
U.S. Senator Ron Johnson is also expected to be on hand greeting fair-goers in the main Expo Building from 1:30 – 2:30 Monday afternoon.
As soon as the gates close Monday night, Fischer says they’ll just do it all over again and start the planning for next year.
