MINOCQUA, Wis. (WXPR) — Many stolen items have been recovered after a tip was called in to City of Minocqua and Lac du Flambeau Tribal Police.
Authorities responded to several residential forced entries along the Highway 70 corridor in Oneida and Vilas counties January 6th. Among the Items taken were flat screen TV’s, sports equipment and money. Wednesday, three search warrants were conducted at some residences in both Mincoqua and Lac du Flambeau. Minocqua Police say some of the stolen items were recovered.
Police are asking victims of the many burglaries to contact them, so they can identify more owners of the stolen property.
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact either the Minocqua Police Department or the Lac du Flambeau Tribal Police Department. Rewards up to $1,000 are offered for information leading to a conviction.
