WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAU) — Nancy Stencil announced Saturday morning that she is running for the 86th Assembly District seat currently held by Republican John Spiros of Marshfield.
This sets up a potential rematch between Spiros and the Wausau Democrat Stencil, who ran against each other in 2014 with Spiros winning the election for his second term.
Stencil said her platform will focus on affordable education, health care, and livable wages for working and middle class Wisconsinites.
Spiros has not announced if he will be running for re-election.
