(Milwaukee, WI) — Bucks guard O.J. Mayo is out for the rest of the season with a broken right ankle. Mayo suffered the injury yesterday while going down his stairs at home.
The 28-year-old averaged a career-low 7.8 points in 41 games this season for the Bucks. Mayo has posted 13.8 points per game over his eight-year career. The Bucks are back in action tomorrow night hosting the New Orleans Pelicans at the Bradley Center. Milwaukee will then head to Brooklyn to battle the Nets on Sunday.
The Bucks moved to 27-and-38 with Wednesday’s 114-108 win over Miami. The 24-and-39 Pelicans are in Memphis tonight before coming to town.
