Fans have even more reason to be enthusiastic now that the team has landed big-name recruits like wide receiver CJ Williams and quarterback Nick Evers. These prospects are part of the team’s top 20 recruiting class, which is climbing the ranks on a daily basis.
The Badgers have had some recruiting setbacks in the recent week, as 2024 three-star in-state tight end Rob Booker announced his de-commitment from Wisconsin and three-star cornerback Vernon Woodward flipped his commitment to Illinois.
Wisconsin will open the season against Buffalo University at Camp Randell Stadium.
