Cedar Crest Ice Cream out of Cedarburg, just announced that their annual ice cream flavor contest for 4-H clubs is back. Over 1600 clubs in Wisconsin can enter the new flavor they think should be the winner. Through the years, clubs all over the state have helped create some top selling flavors like Wisconsin Campfire S’mores and Deep Woods.
This year’s winning flavor was Road Trip Wisconsin, created by the Trail Blazers 4-H Club of Holmen in LaCrosse County. It’s a chocolate ice cream with caramel and cheesecake pieces mixed in.
Now it’s time for your 4-H club to brainstorm the next great flavor for Cedar Crest! Entries are due in November and the winner will be announced in December. The new flavor will be available in July 2021.
