OSHKOSH, WI (Wiscosnin Radio Network) – President Donald Trump says he’ll be in Wisconsin next week.
During a Wednesday night tele-rally with Wisconsin supporters, the president said he’d be in Oshkosh on Monday, as Democrats open their mostly virtual convention in Milwaukee. Trump didn’t provide details.
Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler called a possible visit to Oshkosh a political stunt. Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to campaign in Wisconsin next Thursday, the same day Joe Biden’s vice presidential pick Kamala Harris is to deliver her acceptance speech.
Biden has said he won’t travel to Milwaukee because of COVID-19 concerns. His convention speech will likely take place in Delaware.
