GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers signed nose tackle Kenny Clark to a four year contract extension worth a reported $70 million. The deal includes a $25 million signing bonus.
The deal reportedly is front loaded and will pay Clark $54 million over the first three years. Clark was scheduled to become a free agent in March.
The Packers had signaled that signing the 24 year old Clark long-term was a priority heading into this season.
Clark said ” I’m excited to be a Packer for the long haul and everything worked out just fine”.
