LOS ANGELES, CA (MetroSource-WSAU) — Hollywood is mourning the death of actor Chadwick Boseman, who played the groundbreaking superhero Black Panther in four Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
A statement on his twitter account says the 43 year-old Boseman died of colon cancer yesterday at his home in the Los Angeles area. The statement also says – quote – “It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.”
Boseman was born in South Carolina and graduated from Howard University. He got his big break in 2013, when he starred as pioneering baseball player Jackie Robinson in “42.”
