MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico’s health ministry on Saturday reported 5,974 new confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infections and 673 additional fatalities, bringing the total to 591,712 cases and 63,819 deaths.
The government has said the real number of infected people is likely significantly higher than the confirmed cases.
