STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — A convicted sex offender is being released in Stevens Point.
Lawrence Keehn is being released on Tuesday and will be living at 1504 Water St. after the completion of his sentence for three counts of child enticement. Officials say he will be closely monitored by the Department of Corrections and will be forced to wear a GPS monitor for life.
Additionally, Keehn will be forced to comply with a lifetime registration on the state’s sex offender registry.
In addition to charges of child enticement, Keehn also has prior convictions of possession with intent to deliver synthetic cannabinoids, OWI, and sex registry violation.
As part of the conditions of his release, Keehn is to have no unsupervised contact with minors, no contact with the victims, and must maintain absolute sobriety.
Residents are reminded that any attempt to intimidate, harass, or threaten a registered sex offender will not be tolerated. Information about sex offenders is made public as a means of informing residents.
