MADISON, WI (WTAQ) — US President Donald Trump has filed suit over the certification of election results in Wisconsin.
Filings in Donald J. Trump v. Anthony S. Evers were made Tuesday morning to the Clerk of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
The state Elections commission certified the election results, which saw Democratic Candidate Joe Biden winning the state of Wisconsin by around 20,000 votes, on Monday.
The lawsuit intends to challenge the legality of the absentee voting procedures used throughout the state, specifically whether or not ballots with incomplete voter certification information should be counted.
