COLUMBUS, OHIO (WSAU) — The Wisconsin mens hockey team bounced back from a Thursday loss with a 3-1 win over the Ohio State Buckeyes Friday night in Columbus.
Stevens Point natives Cole and Brock Caufield each had a goal for Bucky. Jack Gorniak also scored. Cole Caufield and Gorniak each had two assists as well.
Freshman goalie Cameron Row , making his first career start, had 40 saves.
The Badgers, now 5-5, will play at Michigan State on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The Wisconsin womens hockey team saw their two-game series with Minnesota cancelled after some positive COVID19 tests in the Badger locker room.
