WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A sex offender convicted in 2015 will be released into the county under supervision.
Joshua Neitzke, 35, has reached his mandatory release date from the Marathon County Jail and will be released back into Marathon County on Tuesday, December 29th. Neitzke was convicted in January of 2015 on charges of 3rd-degree sexual assault and child enticement. He will be under supervision administered by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections until January 1st of 2024.
Neitzke will be placed on the intensive supervision program and will be monitored by sex offender agent specialists. He will live in transitional housing near the Marathon County Courthouse and will be on a highly restricted schedule with time out in the community for work and treatment.
