FRIENDSHIP, WI (WSAU) — Adams County officials have determined that a Town of Rome woman died from exposure to the cold following a vehicle accident over the Christmas holiday.
Investigators have determined that Lindsay Folan was traveling on a private road when her vehicle went into the ditch and was submerged in water. She was able to get out of the vehicle and walk a short distance before hypothermia set in.

Folan was reported missing on Christmas Eve. Her body was discovered on December 26th.
No further information is being released at this time, though officers are continuing to investigate.
