MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Milwaukee was missing their star F Giannis Antetokounmpo but it didn’t hold them back in a 100-90 win over Cleveland on Saturday.
Khris Middleton stepped up with 27 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Bobby Portis added 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Jure Holiday pitched in 15.
DJ Wilson scored 12 points off the bench.
Andre Drummond scored a whopping 26 points and grabbed 24 rebounds to lead the Cavilers while Damyean Dotson added 21 points, and Larry Nance Jr chipped in 17, but no other Caviler scored more than 9 points and five rebounds in the loss.
The win moves the Bucks to 6-4 on the season, one game out of first place in what has been a tight Eastern Conference race to start the shortened 72-game season. They’ll return to action Monday night against Orlando.
