ALBANY, WI (WSAU) — A baby girl born on January 5th is missing in South-Central Wisconsin.
Green County authorities are asking for the public’s help to locate the unidentified girl, who they say was born at home, then taken away by her father.
The father is then said to have turned the child over to an unidentified third party. The child has not been seen since.
That third person is said to be an acquaintance of the child’s father. They were last seen driving a grey Chevy Equinox.
Authorities are asking residents to be on the lookout for anything suspicious, especially landowners in the South-Central part of the state. Anyone with information, no matter how small it may seem, is asked to call either the Green County Sheriff’s Office or Police in the Village of Albany. Tips can also be made online through the Green County Crimestoppers website.
