NEW YORK, NY (WSAU) — Packer fans, clear your calendars for Saturday.
The NFL announced that the top-seeded Packers will host a banged-up LA Rams squad on January 16th with kickoff time set for 3:35 CT. Packers Radio Network pregame coverage on WSAU will begin at 1 PM on WSAU.
The Rams lost backup QB John Wolford to a neck injury in Saturday’s win over Seattle. Jared Goff, their starting QB in the regular season, has been nursing a broken thumb but was called into action in Saturday’s game despite the injury. The Rams also lost All-Pro DE Aaron Donald late in that game.
The second Divisional Playoff game will feature the first-ever postseason meeting between QBs Tom Brady and Drew Brees as the Saints host Tampa Bay. That game is slated for kickoff at 5:40 PM on Sunday, January 17th.
The winners will meet in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday, January 24th.
On the AFC side, Divisional matchups have Baltimore traveling to Buffalo, the #2 seed in the AFC, will host a game on Saturday evening on NBC. The AFC’s top seed Kansas City will host Cleveland on Sunday afternoon with TV coverage of that game on CBS.
All remaining NFC Playoff games will be televised by FOX. Super Bowl LV is Sunday, February 7th in Tampa, FL on CBS.
