GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) — The Green Bay Packers have announced that an allotment of 6,500 Season Ticket Holders and front-line healthcare workers will be allowed to attend next Sunday’s NFC Championship game.
According to the team, those STH’s that have opted-in for the season will be contacted via email by Tuesday and will be allowed to purchase blocks of two, four, or six seats together. The team is encouraging those who do purchase the tickets to attend the game with members of their immediate household.
Once purchased, tickets will be non-transferable. The purchaser will be expected to coordinate with those who will be attending the game to arrive at the same time, as no paper tickets will be printed.
There’s no guarantee that those who opted-in for season tickets this year will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the game. That will depend on how many people choose to exercise their option to buy. Due to the reduced capacity for the game, there’s also no guarantee that those STH will get their regular seats.
A limited number of parking passes for the game will also be sold, but there will be no tailgating in the lots around the stadium.
Social distancing and face-covering protocols will remain in effect at the stadium. Concessions sales will be limited to mobile payment or debit or credit card purchases only, and those attending will be expected to remain in their area of the stadium except for bathroom and concessions trips. Workers will also be cleaning and sanitizing on a regular basis, and numerous hand sanitizer stations will be made available
Face coverings must be worn at all times except when actively eating or drinking.
Around 9,000 fans attended Saturday’s Divisional Playoff win over the LA Rams. It was the first game of the season where the team had made a significant number of tickets available to the public.
During the tail end of the season, the Packers had made some tickets available to team staff and friends and family of players
Per NFL ticket policies the team will also make an allotment of tickets available to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ticket prices for the game will range from $215-$280. Those prices are set by the league and are not sold as part of the Packer’s regular-season ticket package.
