OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Four people who were found at an Oshkosh home where a car matching the description of one being sought in connection with Sunday’s shooting at the Fox River Mall was located have been arrested. But none of them are the man that police are looking to interview.
Police responded around 7:30 a.m. Monday morning to a home in the 200 block of W. 20th Avenue. A blue car, which appeared to be the one connected to the shooting, was visible in the driveway.
During the investigation, four occupants became physically combative with officers and were subsequently taken into custody. These individuals are a 15 year old male, a 16 year old female, a 18 year old female and a 37 year old female, and all were arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting.
Grand Chute police have been looking for 17-year-old Dezman Ellis following the shooting. They say the shooting was not a random act; instead, it was targeted.
At this time, the Grand Chute Police Department is still actively looking to locate Ellis, who is still considered armed and dangerous. Jovanni J. Frausto, 19, was killed in the shooting. A second person was injured and has since been released from the hospital.
The mall was closed Monday.
