WAUSAU, WI (WSAU) — A man will only spend two years behind bars for six felony charges.
Tyler Custer, 25 was sentenced on February 1st for 6 felony charges of exposing a child to harmful material, child enticement, causing a child to view sexual activity, and soliciting an intimate representation from a minor. Custer was sentenced to 2 years in prison and 7 years on extended supervision for the charges.
Custer took a plea deal in November of 2020 with prosecutors in Marathon County. He was facing 15 felony charges and 6 misdemeanor charges, most of which were dismissed but read in during sentencing.
Custer was accused of sending explicit Snapchat photos and videos to girls as young as 14. He was also accused of having weekly sexual contact with a 16-year-old beginning in January of 2019.
Conditions of Custer’s sentencing include no contact with the victims or family, no contact with minors, and compliance with the Sex Offender Registry Program.
