MADISON, WI (WRN) – Wisconsin recorded 1500 new COVID-19 cases for the first time in nearly a week on Thursday.
The state Department of Health Services reported 1,518 new cases Thursday.
The seven day average of 1,229 new daily cases, is the lowest it has been since mid-September, and new daily cases have been falling steadily since early January.
DHS reported 41 new deaths from COVID-19. As of Thursday, 659,025 doses of coronavirus vaccines have been administered, and 129,766 people have received both shots, completing the vaccination series.
